DEKS chord thread seal 175m

Pipe Thread Sealant Monofilament for sealing metal and plastic threaded pipe joints. Made of 100% Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). 175m roll equivalent to 25 PTFE tape rolls. Includes lubricant at the bottom for use on coarse threads.

Dynamic sealant adjusts its state during installation, creating a perfect seal by calendaring the PTFE into a film in the exact thickness required between the two pipe ends. Chemically resistant to the most aggressive chemicals, solvents, fuels and acids. Remains functionally stable from temperatures ranging from -200°C to + 240°C. Non-flammable.

PTFE is completely resistant to surface fouling, oxidation, embrittlement, fungal or bacterial growth, enzymatic or microbiological attack. Remains soft & pliable throughout its life. Has no effect on the process fluids in pipes. PTFE acts as a sealant and does not require any additives to function.

Replaces all other sealants and tapes on all threads. Easier and quicker to install than other sealants. Low cost per seal for maximum performance. Simply wrap around the threads in an overlapping haphazard fashion. Install directly from the hand held dispenser with its unique 360º proprietary cutter. Unused product remains safely protected from dirt & dust for future use. Tested and approved for hot & cold water, steam, gaseous oxygen and gas.
