DIN rails are used to mount circuit breakers and industrial control devices in equipment racks. The original concept was developed in Germany by the Deutsches Institut für Normung (DIN) in 1928. The specifications evolved into their present form in the 1950s and adopted into the current European (EN) and international (IEC) standards.

The TS35F is a slotted top hat DIN rail made of chromed steel. It can be used to mount circuit breakers, relays, PLCs, and other electrical equipment. It is 35mm wide and 7.5mm deep in compliance with the IEC/EN 60715 standard.
